I'm the voice, author, and creator behind Ladybug Little Loves and I am so glad you’re here!

I live in NE Ohio with my husband Dave and our dogs Rummy and Koda. Together, we have three children ages 11, 9, and 4. My favorite things in life are chocolate, bubble baths, sunny days, and a good nap.

Along with all the articles and advice, I also use the blog to share bits and pieces of my life – from photos of my favorite trips to reflections on grief and loss, to life as a mom.

• Travel: I love to travel to new places! Whether it is a far-off land, or a place closer to home, I am happy just exploring new places with people I love. Follow along on our adventures! 

• Loss: On November 22, 2019, we lost our baby girl Lucy Charlotte. She was born sleeping. I have shared a lot about that journey on the blog and have found so many meaningful connections with readers through his story. You can learn more about our experience here. -link loss section

• Motherhood: In April 2011, we welcomed a baby boy Samuel Charles into the world. In the years to follow we would also welcome Molly Ann in 2013, and Jade Elizabeth in 2018. I’ve written a lot about them and my experiences with motherhood, which you can take a look at here. -link motherhood section 

• Home Stuff: We bought our home in 2016 and have done multiple projects on it – from redecorating to a full-blown basement reno. I love decorating and making a house feel like a home-plus adding finishing touches that make it personal to our family. 

• Rummy & Koda: Rummy and Koda are the best. They’re the pride and joy of our family-just ask the kids! They were born in 2016 and we have had them since they were 8 weeks old. You can Ohhh and ahhhh over them here-link dog section
