Health Problems

People have been asking me about updates on my current health issues. I can't remember what I told who so I figure I'll use this platform to update friends and family. Plus I'll throw in good updates, too. You know, some kids or dogs. The usual. It all started about a month ago when I began having really bad allergy flare ups. I have always had seasonal allergies but everything was triggering me and I didn't know what so I wanted to get things figured out. I went to an allergist who wanted to skin test me for everything under the sun, but turns out my skin doesn't cooperate and we had to do a blood test instead which is more limited in what to test and not as accurate. The results came back besides pumpkin nothing super crazy but my allergies were getting worse. I was having daily headaches, sinus issues, my eyes burned and then it got worse. My whole body started itching. I'm talking terrible horrible ants crawling all over you itching. My eyes, inside my ears, my palms, everything. Nothing helped. My eyes got hives on and around them. By this point my allergist was like "I have done all I can for your allergies. This is something else." I made an appointment with my PCP for the extreme body itching and casually mentioned a few other things I had noticed lately. •puritis •headaches •fatigue •weight loss/lack of appetite • night sweats so bad I have to change my clothes and blankets. •2 swollen lymph nodes on my neck. My PCP immediately said he did not like the "B cell symptoms" I was having and scheduled a full panel of blood work including mono and autoimmune diseases. He ordered an ultrasound of the lymph nodes to assess before the biopsy can be scheduled. My ultrasound was this morning (Tues Jan 25) and I already got a call from the Dr. He said the ultrasound wasn't what he wanted to see but also not like oh shit (his words, why I like him). The standard procedure is to follow up in 2 weeks to watch the concerning one before doing an invasive biopsy but it would most likely be needed. I could use all the positive vibes, thoughts & prayers while anxiously waiting for results. Thank you!! ❤️
