Jades rash ended up being a horrible case of Molluscum. We are putting 2 different creams on it and trying to keep it from spreading but this morning she came downstairs and Dave noticed it on her face. UGH. She also has a thyroglossal ductal cyst on her neck. It is not cancerous or anything but does need removed as they usually become infected in adults. She goes February 10 and will be inpatient. My momma heart will be so worried but I know she will be in good hands with her favorite person, her Daddy. ❤️
Sam and Molly have been playing outside with the huge sledding hill dad made for them in the backyard. We are expecting a huge snow storm tonight/tomorrow and I know the kids will be sleeping in backward pjs and flushing ice cubes down the toilet later. Meanwhile ill be praying to sweet baby Jesus they have school.
As for me. Still struggling with the same symptoms and some new ones. Insomnia at night and fatigue during the day sucks 🙃
BUT we are closer to an answer. My dr called me to tell me that a few of my blood tests came back with positive ANA and ENA markers. Basically I have something autoimmune going on. The initial tests are looking like Lupus and it is known to mimic Lymphoma symptoms. It does fit my symptoms but was not on my radar at all. My sister has RA but I don't have any joint pain or anything like that. My dr is guessing it's still early and this is my first flare. I am seeing a Rheumatologist on Feb 22. I was so incredibly lucky to get into the Cleveland Clinic so soon. Someone canceled or I would be waiting until July!! They will run more tests to find out exactly what it is. My dr is still worried about my suspicious ultrasound of one of my lymph nodes and I meet with him Feb 8 to discuss the next steps. If we want to biopsy it or what. My only concern is that lymphoma gets mistaken for other things often and goes misdiagnosed for years. I'm not sure why they won't just do the biopsy for peace of mind. I'm going to advocate for myself at my next appointment.
Thank you so much for everyone checking in on me and praying for me. I appreciate all of it and I love all of you ❤️ #lupus#lymphoma#advocate#medicaladvice
